All changes and improvements to Structured Data Studio, newest first. Each entry shows the version, the deployment date and time, and whether it is a new feature or a fix.
Out of beta — version 1.0. The app leaves beta and drops the beta badge. Every sub-page now shows the suite favicon, and cookie use follows a GDPR consent banner: non-essential cookies are only set after you choose “Accept”, while “Decline” keeps everything session-only. The strictly-necessary consent cookie remembers your choice.
A bigger toolbox: a JSONPath query tester, JSON⇄YAML⇄TOML conversion, one-click TypeScript interfaces and inferred JSON Schemas, duplicate-key detection, example templates, large-file mode for big documents, and loading data straight from a URL. YAML anchors and aliases can be preserved on round-trip, and the highlighter now understands TOML and TypeScript.
Five new tools in one place: syntax highlighting as you type, an interactive document tree, a side-by-side comparison that highlights data-type differences, JSON Schema (draft-07) validation, and smart conversion options (indentation, quoting, flow style, key sorting, YAML 1.1/1.2 and line width) that flag where a conversion would change a value’s type or meaning.
The feedback button now opens a single shared form on the tools index. You can pick the app from a dropdown, so all suggestions and bug reports arrive in one place.
First beta release of Structured Data Studio. Format, validate, minify and convert JSON and YAML fully in your browser. The format is auto-detected, syntax errors are shown down to the line and column, and the result can be copied or downloaded. A short-lived session cookie plus on-device storage keep your work while you browse — nothing is uploaded.
