Structured Data Studio formats, validates, minifies and converts JSON and YAML. Paste your data, pick what you want to do, and copy or download the result. Everything runs entirely in your browser – nothing is uploaded to a server.
Paste or type your JSON or YAML into the Input panel. The format is detected automatically – JSON is tried first, then YAML. You can also force a format with the Source format selector. Use Sample to load an example document.
While you type, the status bar shows the detected format and whether it is valid. When there is a syntax error, the message appears with the exact line and column, so you can jump straight to the problem. YAML keeps its own error messages, and JSON errors from the browser are translated to a position.
Copy puts the result (or the input, if there is no output yet) on the clipboard. Download saves it as a .json or .yaml file. Clear empties both panels.
To keep your work while you reload the page or jump to another tool, the app stores a short-lived cookie (sds_session, 10 minutes) and a copy of the document in your browser's local storage. When the session ends, the document is automatically exported and cleared. Nothing is uploaded – your data never leaves your device.
